Bewijs dat Mohammed geen echte profeet was

Bericht door FreeThinker »

Beste vrije denkers.

Muslims believe the Qur’an to be God's final revelation to humanity, revealed to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel. The Qur’an acknowledges all the prophets that are mentioned in the bible, with the difference that Jesus (called Isa in the Qur’an) is seen as a prophet. Muslims believe that the Qur’an is quite literally the word of God, because the verses in the Qur’an were written directly after Muhammad received them from the Angel Gabriel.

It is impossible to proof the existence of God. There is a lot of evidence that Muhammed existed so we already know that. So what I will try to do is test if Muhammed could have indeed have been a true prophet of God. According to Muhammed the Qur’an is the unaltered and final word of God. So there should be no contradictions in the Qur’an.

Lets first take a look at some of the things that are stated in the Qur’an:
* It is allowed to keep war captives as slaves (Qur’an 4:24)
* Man are of higher rank than woman (Qur’an 2:228 & 4:34), a wife should be submissive to her husband and a man can hit his wife if she is not submissive (Qur’an 4:34)
* Man can have four wives (Qur’an 4:3) and man are allowed to have sex with their wives and slaves (Qur’an 23:6 & 33:50)
* Non believers, christians and jews should not be your friends (as a muslim), they are swines and apes and should be suppressed or killed (Qur’an: 4:47, 4:74-76, 4:89, 4:95-96, 5:33-34, 5:59-60, 8:12, 8:39, 8:65, 9:5, 9:14, 9:29-30, 9:73, 9:123, 25:52, 33:61, 48:29, 66:9, 98:6).

Some people might see the above as evidence that the Qur’an is not the word of God. But many muslims say that it is impossible for us to understand the reason behind these messages. Let’s not focus on it for now and move on the actual test.

Test 1: God would never contradict himself.
God (Allah in the Qur’an) is said to be all knowing and all wise. Since God is all knowing and all wise he would never contradict himself. However when examining the Qur’an some things might seem to contradict. A few examples:
The Qur’an says there shall be no compulsion in religion (Qur’an verse 2:256 & 13:40). However in verses 4:56, 4:89, 8:12 it is said that non-believers and people who lose faith should be killed. So there is no compulsion in Islam but if you don’t believe you will be killed?
Another example is 18:29 & 73:19 (free will to believe) vs 10:100, 76:30 (you can only will if Allah wills). In fact many Qur’an verses state that free will does not exist: 3:145, 3:154, 4:88, 5:41, 10:100, 16:92, 76:29-31, 9:51, 57:22.
Verses 4:88 and 16:93 says that Allah decides who he guides and who he leads astray. But 16:93 also says people will certainly have to account for what they did. This seems very inconsistent. If Allah decides who will believe and be good and who will not, than how does it make sense that any human will need to account for what they did? Without free will, what is the value of judgement?
There are so many inconsistencies in the Qur’an that it is even mentioned in verse 4:82 : “Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.”

Test 2: can God have progressive insight?
Simply put, progressive insight means that as time progresses and events unfold more information becomes available. This is however seen from a human point of view. Since God is all knowing, all information is already available to God. In verse Qur’an verse 6:59 it is indeed written that God knows everything. Since God is all knowing and all wise, God is not subjected to a human limitation we call progressive insight.
However in Qur’an verse 8:65 it is said that 20 muslims will win against 200 non muslims. Than just one verse later, in 8:66 it is said that Allah now knows there is weakness in the hearts of muslims so the task is made easier: now 100 muslims will win against 200 non muslims. How is it possible that God did not know of the weakness in the hearts of muslims when he send down verse 8:65? If it was really God than this is ofcourse not possible. So it means this was not spoken by God.

Test 3: God would never contradict his own makings.
God made everything (54:49). So everything around us is made by God. The words of God should therefore never contradict the makings of his hand.
In Qur’an verse 4:3 it is said that man can have four wives. If it was really Gods intention that man can marry more women than there should be evidence for it in nature. Meaning there should be more women born than men. Nature shows us however that there is about a 50/50 ratio between men and women in the world. So since we know God made everything, we also know God intended humans to live in a 50/50 ratio between men and women. So it would make sense that each man should only marry one woman.
In Qur’an verse 15:19 it is written that the world is spread out like a carpet. We know the world is not flat like a carpet. And in comparison, in the bible (written 700 years before the Qur’an) the world was already described as a circle.
In Qur’an verses 18:83-18:90 it is said that Zulqarnain found the setting place and rising place of the sun, in a muddy pool. Those verses contradict nature since the sun does not set or rise on any place on earth.

Test 4: All prophets could perform miracles.
All of the prophets before Muhammad performed miracles. These miracles also had the purpose of proving that they are indeed true prophets of God. In 3:49 it is written that Jesus (called Isa in the Qur’an) was able to perform miracles to proof he was send by God (Allah). So why didn’t Muhammad perform miracles? There are actually verses about this question (Qur’an 15:6, 17:59, 17:93, 21:5). It states that Muhammed is ‘only’ human and therefore could not perform miracles. However, that is also true for all prophets before him. Well christians believe that Jesus was much more than a prophet, but from the perspective of the Islam he is seen as just a prophet. So it doesn’t explain why Muhammed could not perform miracles.

The above shows that the Qur’an cannot be the word of God. So if it was not Gabriel who send down the words of God to Muhammad than what happend? Maybe Muhammad just pretended to be a prophet? That is one possibility. Let’s take a look at the biographies of Muhammed to see if we can get information about what might have happend.

In the biography about Muhammad written by Ibn Ishaaq it is written that Muhammad wrote verses in the Qur’an saying that the three female gods, whom the inhabitants of Mekka worshiped, were in fact the daughters of God (Allah). But later on the angel Gabriel came to Muhammad to tell him that it was in fact Lucifer (called Iblis in the Qur’an) who had spoken to him before. Muhammad than changed those verses as instructed by Gabriel. These verses that are not in the Qur’an anymore are called the devils verses. This shows two things: Muhammad could not notice the difference between Gabriel and Lucifer. And it also showed that Lucifer spoke to Muhammad.

With this knowledge it is interesting to read what both Ibn Ishaaq and Sahih Bakhari wrote about the first time Muhammed had an encounter with who he thought was Gabriel. Sahih Bukhari wrote that Muhammad told Khadija (Muhammads first wife) that he was afraid something bad had happend to him. And Ibn Ishaaq wrote that Muhammad was thinking of committing suicide after his encounter (Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, p 106). Non of the prophets ever had such fear after an encounter with an angel. This makes it very unlikely that his encounter was indeed with an angel.

So what does this mean? Well I will only conclude that it is very unlikely that Muhammed was indeed a prophet of God. The above is definitely not proof that God does not exist. God could very well exist. And the other prophets might very well be real. Muhammed however doesn’t seem to be a real prophet of God.

For those who believe in his teachings this is probably a big shock. But there is something very positive in this conclusion as well. Because it means that God did not say that woman are of lower rank than man. And God did not say that it is ok to keep slaves. Nor did God say that man can have four wives and have sex with their slaves. So in a way this prove saves us from a very dark message.

Hahaha. Kinderen geloven in sinterklaas.
